A VENUE: 3rd and Lindsley

June 21, 2015 by Conner Harville in Nashville

The different talents of humans amaze me. Getting the chance to listen to Liza Anne live at 3rd and Lindsley was great. The venue is interesting and yet feels like a cliched venue that I have seen somewhere before. Maybe it is a default venue on Guitar Hero or something.

Seeing someone that lacks what society deems as necessary yet is so rich in character pushes you towards the true meaning of life.

A Farce. | A Reality.

June 05, 2015 by Conner Harville in Nashville

SEEING A FARCICAL LIFESTYLE BECOME A REALITY creates a fine line. Something seemingly comedic can really brink on tragedy.

Large = Private. | Small = Public.

May 23, 2015 by Conner Harville in Nashville

PLACING YOURSELF IN OVERLY PUBLIC ENVIRONMENTS provides more intimacy. Placing yourself in more private environments can rob you of that intimacy.

"And I like large parties. They're so intimate. At small parties there isn't any privacy."

THE NOTION OF UNSPOKEN RULES IS SUCH A GUIDING AND TRUE LIGHT. Everyone around this gal believed she was not following the rules.

A VENUE: The Basement [East]

May 20, 2015 by Conner Harville in Nashville

A FRIEND OF MINE, WHO IS IN THE KNOW, was told that Cage The Elephant was having a super secret show at The Basement East. I immediately purchased my ten dollar ticket. Later that night I arrived at one of the craziest shows of my life.

The Start. | Rue Vie.

May 01, 2015 by Conner Harville in Nashville

THIS IS THE START OF A JOURNEY. One that came from being still, way too still. I had moved to an amazing new city [NASHVILLE] and found myself starting to sink into my couch. It was the fifth episode of Silicon Valley that made me decide, "Hey I need to be doing something with this valuable spare time. I need to be in the city and amongst the city." I was thinking about how to challenge myself creatively and socially.

So I came up with this concept to show whomever is willing to look At the streets that I now live on. So I purchased a FujiFilm XT1 and a 22mm Prime lens and have started this project. A project with the intent to make sure that I am seeing the city and seeing the amazing gift of life that is around it.

 So without further ado I give you RUE VIE.
